Job Description
developing a new Managed Service utilising a multi-tenant private cloud to replace a complex legacy Enterprise infrastructure. This will require a high level of automation and repeatable component design patterns to allow the deployment of customer business solutions within short time frames. The project will make heavy use of Windows and VMware technologies, along with Ansible, Terraform and Scripting supported by niche infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities
Successfully delivers programmes and projects of high complexity operating under control and at high tempo.
Clearly communicates programme/project goals and success criteria, clearly specifies required outcomes.
Establishes clear priorities, maintains focus upon the critical path.
Establishing a coherent and effective working relationship with client director, commercial, and finance leads.
Manages and directs a diverse delivery team, including third parties
Demonstrates gravitas to deal decisively with problems, risks, issues and conflict to quickly influence and secure traction and consensus.
Ensures that we operate in a contractually compliant manner throughout; similarly ensuring that the client meets its obligations.
Establishing effective and proportionate governance and controls.
Ensuring that a clear and objective assessment of programme / project performance is regularly, clearly, and accurately reported.
Focusing upon both tracking and realising benefits throughout delivery.
The joint venture, communicating effectively and influencing positive outcomes.
Acts with integrity, engendering trust and confidence.
Understands client business case, anticipating contention between client objectives and contracted outcomes, and engaging appropriately towards negotiated and agreed change.

Required Skills
Demonstrable track record of complex programme delivery at pace and in a secure setting.
Suitable gravitas to effectively operate, manage, motivate and direct a diverse delivery team, including partners and subcontractors.
Able to encourage and secure traction and consensus without compromise to the programme's goals.
Strong influencer at all levels, including senior customer stakeholders
Experience of working on Infrastructure projects within a secure environment would be ideal.
