Senior Project Manager - Business Change
As a Senior Project manager - Business Change, you will be responsible for the introduction of a standard approach to change. This will include the development of the roadmap and key principles and working with senior stakeholders, including the Submarines Management Committee, to get buy-in.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to play a significant role in helping to influence the group approach as well as developing the detailed approach in Submarines.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager - Business Change will involve:
Developing, managing and maintaining the Standard Approach to Change plan.
Introducing the standard change framework and supporting tools & techniques
Developing, managing and maintaining the internal communications plan for business change in collaboration with the internal communications team.
Developing key metrics to cover the level of compliance to the business change approach. Working with project sponsors and leads to address any compliance issues.
Generating and owning the business change strategy as part of the IM&T Strategy Roadmap.
Ensuring the Room of Requirements is an integral part of the business change approach by working closely with the Room of Requirements Manager.
Being accountable for developing the existing change network as a focal point for communication and engagement with the business change community.
Ensuring there is close alignment with the Group business change approach. A two-way relationship to be established to both help shape the Group approach and ensure the Submarines' approach reflects the emerging Group approach as appropriate.
Your skills and qualifications:
Project management - proven record of delivering business-wide projects
Comfortable at dealing with senior management including at board level
Strong communication and presentational skills
Stakeholder management
Leading and driving teams either directly or indirectly.
A good appreciation of change management
Understanding of Submarines strategy and its strategic objectives
Budget management
Experience of working with consultants and contractors
