Senior Project / Programme Manager - Engineering

A leading Engineering and Aerospace innovator are looking for a Senior Project / Programme Manager in their Greater London base. Within the role you will be responsible for providing the control and co-ordination of agreed programmes of work and for reporting on the progress of technical, engineering and associated activities of assigned projects such that they are managed, administered and completed in accordance with contract. Legacy project management experience with a safety critical product would be ideal.

This role will also include:

• Development and maintenance of the risk register in respect of projects so that problems and delays are identified and delays are therefore minimised

• Monitoring and control of costs so that customers are invoiced accordingly and budgeting is accurate

• The production of progress reports and supporting commercial proposals

You will need:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Be able to obtain SC clearance

• Broad project management experience

• Extensive experience of presentation design and development

• Some experience in negotiations

• Risk management
