Senior Sub Contract Buyer

• 12 month contract

• £40ph (Inside IR35)

• Luton (predominantly site based)

• Aerospace; Defence; Engineering; Electronics; Mechanical

The role holder will need to demonstrate successful procurement capabilities to deliver electro / mechanical assemblies at both a component and module level, which mitigate commercial risk and address lifecycle factors whilst fostering and maintaining supplier relationships.

Typical Accountabilities - Senior Sub Contract Buyer

• Lead the delivery of sub-contract management activities and other procurement related services which may be required by the IPT and its constituent projects

• Performance of complex assignments requiring cross functional collaboration without supervision

• Promotes customer intimacy in both internal and external relationships

• Focal point for Suppliers regarding contract and supply base matters across multiple products for Praetorian.

• Identify solutions for complex areas of potential risk /opportunity e.g. sub-contract risk, liability and exchange rate exposure etc. and deliver solutions/mitigations
