Senior Support Worker

Senior Support Worker Position:
We are looking for a dedicated responsible Senior Support Worker who happily takes on duties such as, care planning, review and provision of a 24/7 care service in a residential care home setting. If you believe to have qualities and interest, keep reading to find out more.

Senior Support Worker - Responsibilities:

  • Lead case/care planning management for children and young people

  • Developing care plans and identifying outcomes

  • Regular reviews

  • Assessing and managing risks

  • Supervise and provide mentoring to newly appointed staff

  • Administration of medication and clinical procedures

  • Promoting communication and participation within the community

  • All records are maintained and duly uploaded into the appropriate database

  • Co-ordinating multi agency and family information, analysing and producing reports

  • Attending professional meetings

  • Building and maintaining professional positive working relationships

Senior Support Worker - Qualifications:

  • A current DBS - enhanced with Children

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent experience

Senior Support Worker - Competence:

  • Standards of safeguarding

  • Committed to the aim of keeping the child at the centre

  • Being familiar with and comply with Health & Safety procedures and policy

  • Being able to take immediate action in the event of serious risk

  • Cross function with other departments to ensure values and strategic objectives are achieved

Senior Support Worker - Remuneration:

Salary: £23500 DOE

Salary and Leave: Ranges from 26 to 29 days per year (depending on length of service)

Additional 5 days annual leave will be added after 5 years continuous service

This role is based in a remote location and as such, the client offers a taxi shuttle service for the beginning and end of each shift from the local train Station to the project itself.

Please note this role is also subject to an enhanced DBS check being sucessfully obtained.
