As a Service Analyst in Vulnerability Management, you will be protecting our Infrastructure, which is a critical part of the work undertaken by Enterprise IT. We are looking for a Service Analyst with a broad knowledge of Service Operations and Delivery who can perform consistently across multiple technology areas and has a keen interest in IT Security.

Your main responsibilities as a Service Analyst - Vulnerability Management will involve:

  • Vulnerability Management - Working closely with EIT Security Operations you will manage multiple streams of work engaging and driving technical teams to plan for and remediate vulnerabilities identified on our systems

  • Major Vulnerability Management - From time-to-time we will have critical vulnerabilities we need to manage - you will be a key part of the team working alongside Major Incident

  • Management to ensure critical vulnerabilities are mitigated and remediated in a timely manner

  • Reporting at both a detailed and summary level on progress against vulnerability remediation plans

  • Frequently liaising with internal and external suppliers and partners in ensuring vulnerabilities are being managed to completion

  • Escalation of any issues that cannot be resolved to the correct level

  • Contribute to documenting the EIT Vulnerability programme approach including policies and procedures

  • Assist in prioritising the EIT Vulnerability footprint, including integration with Risk Management, data gathering and assessment.

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Be trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training

  • Knowledge of working within a SIAM operating model

  • Have experience of, or keen interest in, IT Security

  • Have wide experience in driving through burn-down/remediation plans to completion
