Service Coordinator - Surrey

£25,000 - £30,000 + bonus

39 hours per week - Monday - Friday - Flexible start and finish available

One of the UK's leading suppliers of high-end sterilisation and quality process equipment is now recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join their friendly administrative team, based in the Redhill, Surrey area.

Company information

They are a prestigious, niche business working exclusively with 3 Italian manufactures who work with a number of high-status pharmaceutical organisations carrying service, repair and installation on sterile process equipment such as steam sterilisers, isolators and steam generators.

Role & Responsibilities - Service Coordinator

The role will consist of a diverse range of administrative tasks including communication with customers, motivating and liaising with remote worker e.g. engineers, planning site work, coordination of parts etc.

  • Organise departmental meetings/activities compile agenda and follow up on actions

  • Work closely with parts department to ensure all necessary parts and equipment is present onsite for engineers

  • Arranging and leading sitework planning meetings

  • Manage requests (and respond where appropriate) for information from customer relating to planned siteworks e.g. health and safety questionnaires, requests for engineer CV's and qualifications

  • Issue and complete engineer job cards for all site activities

  • Assist and advise site engineers in making logistical travel arrangements

  • Generate quotes for site work attendance required

  • Ensure purchase orders are in place

  • Support operations team managers and leader with SLA's, quotation and preparation for invoicing

This role requires a degree of flexibility to travel, on occasions you will be required to attend operations meetings in Ireland. It is also beneficial for the Service Coordinator to join in on customer meetings or service visits. It is anticipated that no more than 2 trips a year would be needed.

Experience/skills required - Service Coordinator

  • Extensive experience in the coordination and planning of field engineers

  • Strong communication - both written and verbal

  • Conversant with Microsoft packages - excel, word, office, PowerPoint etc.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Enthusiastic and personable

Package/Benefits - Service Coordinator

  • £25,000 - £30,000

  • Company Pension

  • Annual company and performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary

  • 25 days' holiday plus bank with flexible buy/sell 5 days

  • Lunch allowance (if away from office)

  • Overnight allowance if travelling
