Rate: £550 per day inside IR35

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of team delivering 'enabling' services to a large Public Sector customer. The environment is complex and the scope for learning is only limited by your own ambition and willingness to learn new skills. As a Service Designer you will be creating services across a diverse portfolio of technical change, considering supportability, service and end user needs.
Role Description
- Work alongside project teams ensuring that Service considerations have been factored into all of the solution's architecture
- Assess elements of the solution that influence supportability, maintenance and enduring Service
- Work across multiple work-streams within the portfolio identifying conflict, duplication and dependencies
- Support Service Transition to ensure a smooth and informed introduction into Service
- Identify and assist with establishing Service assets and operational collateral required for operational readiness
- Have a technical background and the ability to question decisions and approaches
- Have an understanding of Government Security Classifications and hold a minimum of SC Clearance
Experience and Skills:
As a Service Designer you will:
- Be a self-starter
- Have knowledge and an appreciation of a variety of Service Management Frameworks and delivery approaches, for example:
- ITIL®
- Agile
- Prince
- CDCI
- Have the ability to create Service Design Collateral
- Be able to model costs and determine influencing factors
- Have Knowledge of the following Technologies
- ITSM Tooling
- Virtualisation
- Private Cloud Infrastructure
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure/Thin Client
- Microsoft Windows Client and Server
- Software Defined Datacentre
