DV cleared or SC Cleared
6 Month Contract
Rate: £400 - £475 per day outside IR35

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of team delivering 'enabling' services to a large Public Sector customer. The environment is complex and the scope for learning is only limited by your own ambition and willingness to learn new skills. As a Service Designer you will be creating services across a diverse portfolio of technical change, considering supportability, service and end user needs.

Role Description

You will:
* Work alongside project teams ensuring that Service considerations have been factored into all of the solution's architecture
* Assess elements of the solution that influence supportability, maintenance and enduring Service
* Work across multiple work-streams within the portfolio identifying conflict, duplication and dependencies
* Support Service Transition to ensure a smooth and informed introduction into Service
* Identify and assist with establishing Service assets and operational collateral required for operational readiness
* Have a technical background and the ability to question decisions and approaches
* Have an understanding of Government Security Classifications and hold a minimum of SC Clearance

Experience and Skills:

As a Service Designer you will:
* Be a self-starter
* Have knowledge and an appreciation of a variety of Service Management Frameworks and delivery approaches, for example:
o Agile
o Prince
* Have the ability to create Service Design Collateral
* Be able to model costs and determine influencing factors
* Have Knowledge of the following Technologies
o ITSM Tooling
o Virtualisation
o Private Cloud Infrastructure
o Virtual Desktop Infrastructure/Thin Client
o Microsoft Windows Client and Server
o Software Defined Datacentre
