An exciting opportunity for a charismatic Service Director is now available with one of the largest sterilisation and decontamination manufacturers in the UK.

The Company

A global organisation which is a leader in specialist medical sterilisation equipment, they manufacturer equipment such as autoclaves, washer disinfectors and endoscope re-processors. The company cover sites across the UK and offer an excellent salary and benefits as well as progression opportunities within the group.

The Role:

The successful Service Director will be covering the UK and Ireland sites and will be predominately based from home. You will be responsible for an over team of over 100 Field Service Engineers and Filed Service Managers. To successfully lead the team you will be an experienced manager with a charismatic and confident personality. Knowledge of the sales process and driving customer centricity to deliver a professional service will be required.


Responsibilities:

Submission of sales forecast for each team within the Services business area.
Provide strategic direction and development of the Services activities of the company. This includes the submission of a Strategic Plan on an annual basis.
Regional Support - Liaise with the Commercial Operations teams, building strong working relationships to ensure that customers remain a priority
Participate as a member of the UKI Senior Management team, providing support in the design and development of programs and processes to benefit the company.
Ensure operations are fully compliant with the Group Code of Conduct.
Prepare annual budget
Monitor and drive sales and margin target achievements for each product group under responsibility

Experience/qualifications Required

Qualification in a life science related subject would be advantageous
Management qualification
Previous background and experience in capital/consumable sales
Strong knowledge and experience of sales, financial management, staff management
Successful interactions with Senior Managers, customer base
Master degree in Management, Engineering, Medical
Previous background and experience in medical devices sector
Accustomed to working in a multifunctional team environment
