Overview
For NSoIT(D) as a Programme and OpNET as the capability to be deployed there is a need to develop, align and integrate OpNET Service Management and security process across the security domains and service support organisations. As the first organisation to deliver a Service Management capability across deployed, there is a requirement to establish a key role which will focus on the development and alignment of process within Defence Digital (DD) OpNET, and ensure that the technical aspects of Security and Service Management have been developed in a manner which allows ISS to fulfil its role as the Service Management and to develop and support L1-4 Resolver Group function. Failure to deliver this correctly would mean OpNET will be unable to deliver the service management construct and be unable to effectively manage the delivery of services across all deployed nodes to the Single Service Demand Users.
Objectives
NSoIT(D) Service Management Business Analyst (Eng SM). To deliver the tasks within time as identified and/or agreed by the NSoIT(D) / OpNET Service Management Change Project in the sprint or project:- primary objective is to establish a key role which will focus on the development and alignment of process and tooling within DD OpNET, and ensure that the technical aspects of Security and Service Management have been developed in a manner which allows DD to fulfil its role as the Service Management and support L1-4 Resolver Group function.
Description
For OpNET to be supported across the Enterprise it is essential that DPS can understand and specify requirements for all processes and interfaces into the Engineering and Design element of NSoIT(D) / OpNET. This resource needs to ensure that the appropriate business analysis, planning, development, testing, operation, management and maintenance of processes and tooling and that they are developed from both a Security and Service Management perspective throughout the NSoIT(D) Programme, working for the NSoIT(D) / OpNET Sy and SM team directly into the Design Architecture lead and Engineering.
Due to the requirement of the role, the individual needs to understand working in an Agile (SAFE4) working environment and be able to articulate Security and Service Management Requirements into the Engineering department, with a thorough understanding of the Deployed Service Management Strategy and of how tooling and processes will be used across a diverse Enterprise.
