Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Software Development Engineer: You will join a leading technology company and perform software development to automate optical aligner kits and other process equipment used for the assembly of next-generation optoelectronics components.

Working closely with the process engineering and hardware engineering teams the role consists in architecting and authoring the software side of the process in order to control devices and instrumentation for the assembly of high-speed photonics components in both an R&D and manufacturing environment. Additionally, it is required to take care of the integration of measurements and other in-process metrology to database.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor /Master's Degree in in Engineering (electronics), Physics , Computer Science or related discipline with some software content.

Your core skills and competencies

• Experience in C# or Vb.net.

• Experience with interpreting Electronics circuit diagrams and debugging.

• Experience in National Instruments LabView.

• Experience working in electronics or semi-conductor manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of test instrumentation and automation.

• Knowledge of optical communications and testing

• Data analysis.
