Location: Royston, Hertfordshire ( REMOTE )

Rate: £48ph - £50ph (Outside IR35)

An organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of machines for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical research industry are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop , test , document and maintain high-quality software for new and existing systems . You will participate in continuous improvement of the software group platforms , processes and techniques

Role of Software Engineer ( Contract ) - C# , .Net

• Realising system requirements into designs and software codes

• Ensuring that applications meet user requirements and provide great experience

• Aligning applications with standards and branding requirements

• Developing and completing required documentation

• Participating in team and project meetings

• Participating fully in continuous improvement activities ; designing and implementing changes

• Working on additional projects

Qualifications & Experience - Software Engineer ( Contract ) - C# , .Net

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science | Software Engineering or equivalent

• Fluent in software development with the .NET / .NET Core Framework and the programming language C#

• Experience Microservice Architecture and .NET Core Web API to design and develop Restful webservices

• Familiar with Git and the corresponding branching models using Pull Requests to ensure product quality

• Knowledge in OR mappers like Entity Framework

• Experience in using automated software build , release and test environments

• Experience in UI development with WPF or React is beneficial
