Location: Dartford Kent

Salary: £35,000 - £37,500 + 10 % bonus and excellent benefits

An industry leader in designing/manufacturing high tech vehicle safety systems for the automotive industry. They are in need of a Software Quality Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that software products manufactured and distributed by Brigade (cloud, mobile/desktop applications & embedded) are developed and released within acceptable quality limits and cyber security requirements.

The Role - Software Quality Engineer:

• Implement and maintain robust software quality/cyber security testing strategies
• Create test plans to identify software/cyber threats and issues.
• Look at improving the systems and resolve any defects
• Assist in product design, testing, verification and planning for software quality assurance and cyber security
• Communicate with software developers and product managers to ensure that product/service, quality/cyber, compliance/conformance is achieved
• Understand customer requirements and ensure supplier performance and business processes are operational

Experience/Skills required - Software Quality Engineer:

• Qualification in software quality assurance or cyber security
• At least 3 years in an engineering industry of developing software and quality assurance/cyber security control plans
• Knowledge of verification and validation testing
• Able to record of being able to identify support networks
• Automotive, aerospace, defence, medical or optical industry experience
