One of the UK's leading providers of medical engineering maintenance services are seeking a stock controller to be based at their HQ in Southend to manage the stock of medical endoscopy parts.
As the Stock Controller you will be responsible for ensuring new and refurbished stock is correctly picked, issued and received.
Full training will be provided for this role, candidates will be considered from array of backgrounds. Ideally you will have a stable career history.
Key accountabilities - Stock Controller - Southend:
Maintain the storeroom and allocation of space for stock
Rectify day to day issues relating to stock availability and product quality/specification
Control consumable, chemical and flammable goods ensuring the correct paperwork is documented and logged
Maintain inventory and stock management systems
Conduct annual and interim stock checks in conjunction with the administration team as and when necessary
Highlight any performance issues to Endoscopy Management by developing and maintaining key relationships with manufacturers and subcontractors
Source and coordinate stock purchases
Skills/experience required - Stock Controller - Southend:
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Ideally worked in stock control or a process driven environment
Proficient IT skills
£21,000 basic salary
Pension via Royal London
Discretionary company bonus
Death in service
25 days AL + bank
