Remote role with occasional travel to Edinburgh

Permanent opportunity

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

  • Responsible for aspects of the sourcing phase including vendor shortlisting, competitive tender management, price and contract negotiations

  • Support your procurement team across a number of projects to ensure that internal customer requirements are satisfied

  • Work with other functions to ensure that we have a supply base which can meet the evolving needs of the business

  • Identify cost savings opportunities using various methods which can be justified in line with the life cycle cost reduction process

  • Conduct price analysis and benchmarking activities to assist with negotiations

  • Support customer bids by ensuring that vendor quotations are valid, managing new supplier sourcing and selection

  • Ensure compliance with internal governance and customer flow-down requirements, supporting internal and external audits as required

  • Ensure that SAP is aligned to reflect the agreements that you will implement

Required Skills

  • Entry level procurement/purchasing experience or similar

  • Experience working in a regulated business environment

  • Proficient level of MS Office based IT skills

  • SAP user experience
