A market leading Engineering / Manufacturing Company within the Defence / Aerospace sector are experiencing a period of growth. To support the rising demand for their high tech electro-mechanical products they are seeking a Sub Contract Manager

Role of Sub Contract Manager :
+ Responsible for the Procurement of Sub Contracts including the management of cost , schedule and performance parameters . Develops subcontract specifications , work statements , and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialised materials , equipment , and / or services .
+ Prepare Bid packages , conducts bidders conferences , analyses and evaluates proposals , negotiates subcontract provisions , selects or recommends subcontractors , writes awards , administers resulting subcontracts .
+ Negotiates and coordinates additions , deletions , or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures . Selects methods , techniques and evaluation criteria for achieving goals and objectives .

Requirements for Sub Contract Manager :
+ Experience managing supplier relationships and cross functional teams
+ Able to develop , apply and analyse the effectiveness of supply chain management methods to turn materials into products
+ Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle and supply chain management principals
