A world leader and renowned engineering company are now offering an opportunity to join their team on a permanent basis as an SQA Engineer within their mechanical department. This role enables you to work for a household name with a growing order-book offering high levels of job security.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be joining a busy and well established team and reporting to the Supplier Improvment Manager. Ideally you will have worked within the aerospace, automotive or defence industries concentrating on Quality Assurance with a mechanical biased.

Key responsibilities;

+ Quality certification of new suppliers

+ Auditing of new and existing suppliers

+ You will control the audit schedule of key suppliers

+ Perform investigations with suppliers on any non-conforming issues

Key experience;

+ Quality Assurance and auditing experience within an aerospace, defence or automotive environment

+ QA associated tools such as 8D

+ Auditing experience

+ Experience of working in an engineering environment
