If so, we are looking for a number of support workers with energy, commitment and care for young people aged 5- 19 with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviours, to encourage continued development and progressions, whilst providing a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment.
Our client is one of the largest charity organisations in the UK. Their outreach projects provide a number of after school, weekend and school holiday clubs, centres and activities accessible to families in the Buckinghamshire area.
+ Support children and young people in activities at centres throughout Buckinghamshire and ensure a safe environment
+ Participate in activities and trips as required - some activities may be strenuous and involve lifting, running etc
+ Support in the administration of medicine
+ Support young people with intimate care
+ Ensure accurate reporting of activities in children's home diaries as well as documenting of any safeguarding concerns, health and safety or injury.
In return, you will be fully supported with a range of on the job training, mentoring and supervision. This role really is suited to someone committed to providing the best care to children and young people with a real passion for a career in care.
