Systems Engineer

Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, from initial System Concept to Delivery and Acceptance. This includes vital activities such as Bid Support, System Design, Integration, Verification, and Customer Acceptance. You'll be at the forefront of specifying, developing, integrating, verifying, and accepting systems for both internal and external customers.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in systems design, integration, and testing.
• An understanding of Systems and Product lifecycles from concept to delivery.
• Familiarity with various engineering disciplines (Software, Mechanical, and Electrical).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels, both within and outside the organization.
• Flexibility to apply skills and knowledge across multiple projects and products.
• Computer literate with excellent written English skills, capable of producing accurate, detailed technical proposals, specifications, and reports.
• Willingness to travel (business travel may be required, depending on project demands).
• Degree (or equivalent) qualification in an engineering or science discipline.

Desirable (Not Essential):

• Familiarity with Radar Systems (desirable but not essential if other complementary skills demonstrate rapid technology understanding).
• Experience across the entire product lifecycle (concept generation, concept demonstration, development, production, and in-service support).
• Proficiency in working with and developing systems using communications protocols (e.g., RS485, RS232, TCP-IP, Canbus, etc.).
• Experience in product development for relevant industries.
• Experience with or in related equipment or systems.
• Leadership capabilities for multi-skilled engineering teams.
• Ability to deliver engineering packages on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Membership in a relevant Professional Engineering Institution.
• Relevant security clearance.
• Valid driving license.
