Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Join an industry leader in defence and electronic manufacturing as a Senior Test Engineer based in Surrey. My client is the forefront of radio communication technology and supply their products and systems on a global level.

The Role - Test Engineer:

Reporting directly to the Project Manager or Software Design Lead you will:

• Perform inspections on Electronics assembly on an IPC level
• Perform production testing for newly manufacturing systems/products
• Safety testing
• Lead the test department
• Setting up the test environment
• Analyse test results
• Design jigs and harnesses
• Hardware, software and firmware configuration
• Use different test equipment to take measurements

Experience/Skills required - Test Engineer:

• Engineering Qualification HNC or equivalent and above
• Understanding of electronics and software
• Used different types of Test equipment
• PCB testing experience
• Tested on safety critical products/systems before
• Able to obtain Security clearance
