The Software Verification Engineer is responsible for executing allocated Verification Work Packages within agreed cost, time and quality constraints. The Verification Engineer is responsible for demonstrating that the developed product meets all specified legislative and customer requirements, by:

• Specifying and implementing the test solution

• Improving efficiency of testing but implementing Automated Test solution where practicable

• Performing in-house and/or external testing

• Adequately documenting the tests and test results

• Controlling and reviewing work of the members of their team (where a team exists)

Technical Challenge -

• Review and develop the Test Plan

• Review and develop Test Scripts

• Develop Test Traceability Matrix

• Contributes across all relevant company projects to provide leadership in area of specialised expertise.

• Needs to understand and devise intricate solutions to complex problems after lengthy and involved analysis

• Needs sustained technical understanding of all issues required to manage verification and validation of complex equipment

• Needs to identify, isolate and demonstrate failures in the product under test, and identify likely causes and possible solutions.
