VMWare and VCF Consultant

• £450 - £550 A Day Inside IR35
• Remote based role
• ASAP Start
• 6 Month initial contract

Working instructions: Understand the VCF Planning and Preparation spreadsheet and ensure details satisfy the design decisions.

Essential skills required:

• Experience with Design and Delivery related work on VMware VCF and vSphere based solutions
• Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies e.g. vSAN
• At least one professional Virtualisation certification that has been obtained within the last five years, i.e. VMware VCP (VMware vCenter Certified Professional) or higher
• Excellent knowledge of distributed, highly virtualised environments running business-critical applications across regions
• Knowledge of VMware Validated Designs
• Familiarity with VMware Infrastructure Sizing requirements

Desirable skills:

• Experience of Stretched Management Cluster deployment
• Experience of vRealize Suite Deployment using vRLCM
• Knowledge of scripting/automation skills
• Experience of team working on complex vSphere deliverables
• Understanding of Software Defined Datacentre Designs
