As a Voice Engineer, you will solve defence customer's most complex technological challenges by creating innovative digital solutions, transforming the way that they can do business.
The successful Voice Engineer will provide key technology design and implementation ownership and expertise throughout all stages of the solutions design engagement life cycle.
Experience/Skills of Voice Engineer
UKSV Security Check clearance (as a minimum)
Design and implementation subject matter expert knowledge
Unified communications and voice technologies and products (Cisco / Avaya / Ribbon [C20 /ATCA/AS/SBC/GVPP] / Unify [Siemens] OpenScape Portfolio / Blackberry).
Cisco Call Manager
Cisco Telepresence Management Suite
Cisco Meeting Server
Cisco Meeting Manager
Cisco TC/CE based video endpoints
Cisco IP Telephone portfolio
Experience in virtualised (VMware) and appliance-based deployments.
An awareness of networking (IPv4, IPv6, QoS, CoS) technologies and products
A current vendor specialist/professional level certification and/or proven specialist/professional level experience (CCNP Collaboration / ADRA / ASxx)
Legacy and current Cisco video collaboration technologies
Responsibilities - Voice Engineer
Build the right unified communications and voice solutions from customer requirements
Provide end-to-end unified communications and voice technical design, implementation and accountability throughout the pre-sales and delivery life cycle
Define and create pre-sales and post sales technical collateral
Develop customer relationships and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
