Voice/Video Network Engineer

+ Role Type: Permanent
+ Location: Bristol - 3-4 Days Per week but flexible
+ Salary: £35,000 - £67,000 + 10% Bonus
+ Must be eligible for DV Clearance

Role Description:
+ Be part of a skilled Cisco Voice and Video solutions design team who work across multiple technical disciplines and industry sector. The scope of technical functions that are covered by this team, include Cisco Call Manager, Video End Points, Video Conferencing, Expressways, Gateways amongst other technologies.
+ You will deliver the design, implementation, transformation, troubleshooting and support of the Cisco Voice strategy including collaboration tools, Audio/Video, SBCs, voice gateways and SIP trunking.
+ You will manage the technical delivery ensuring delivery and alignment with contractual SLAs and work with Compliance, Risk and Security to ensure solutions meet internal and external standards and requirements.
+ You will be proficient with Microsoft Office and Visio for document creation and to be able to articulate a design at a high-level to peers and customers.


You'll have the following skills & experience:
+ Detailed experience with Cisco Unified Communication Suite & a strong understanding of LAN, WAN & telecommunication operations is mandatory.
+ Strong knowledge of Cisco networking systems with the ability to configure & troubleshoot voice related hardware.
+ Knowledge of the Enterprise voice and collaboration technologies.
+ CCNP or CCVP certification or equivalent
+ Session Border Controllers and SIP Trunking
+ Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure practices, operations, standards and frameworks (ITIL).
+ Experience in IP Network & Voice/IP Telephony
+ Technical project management experience on voice workstreams
+ Strong and extensive voice systems support and administration experience

+ Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM)
+ Cisco Expressway
+ Cisco Voice & Video Endpoints
+ Voice and Video protocols
+ Voice & Video conferencing network requirements (for example QoS and Protocols utilised)
+ Fault finding - IP networks and Voice & Video applications
+ Documentation skills (LLD/HLD/Configuration Guides)

+ Cisco Meeting Server (CMS)
+ VMware ESXi
+ IP Networking - Routers and Switches
+ Generic device hardening
+ Generic Security standards
+ PKI certificates (raising CSR's & applying CER's onto Cisco applications)
