A manufacturing industry leader whose complex products are shipped globally are seeking a number of Warehouse Operatives / Pickers and Packers.

You will be responsible for physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfilment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This includes maintaining records of goods and rejecting unsatisfactory items.

Responsibilities - Warehouse Operative

• Reviewing Customer Orders

• Receiving and inspecting deliveries and goods for distribution against purchase orders or invoices

• Booking and locating materials into the stock management system.

• Controlled issue of stock

• Picking material kits for project and production assembly teams

• Control and monitoring of stock movements using ERP system

• Maintenance of FIFO principles

• Packing goods appropriately for shipping

Qualifications - Warehouse Operative

• Experience in a stores / warehouse environment covering goods inward, picking, packing and despatch.

• Experience of working with computerized stock management system or extensive experience of computers and software.
