The Role:

Wintel SMEs to work on the Security Accreditation program which is about addressing obsolescence and other risks to customer accreditation. The work will encompass visiting Maritime Service sites in Portsmouth area and South East of England in scope for audit work, also assist in ongoing BAU efforts and vulnerability testing. They are SME (L5) roles as they might encounter any situation on site and would need to be able to resolve.

Tasks may include Design and installation of new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities as part of an obsolescence project(s).

Experience:

Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, VMware vCenter, VMWare ESXi and Windows PKI, Veritas and Microsoft clustering.

Successful candidates will have a third line support background and great customer service and communication skills. They will have a keen interest in innovation alongside a willingness to implement new ways of working and automation.
