Infrastructure Engineer

+Hybrid in Swindon - on site 2 days a week

+£45-£49 ph Inside IR35

You will work closely with the customer's technical teams, supporting day-to-day operations and assisting with implementation activities within an established environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the customer as part of the implementation and BAU operations team

• Support and maintain existing infrastructure by following established operational processes

• Assist with day-to-day support, configuration, and operational tasks

• Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to maintain service stability

• Support virtualization, backup, and platform security tasks where required

Skills & Experience

• General awareness or experience with HPE NonStop environments, including PAM and Sentinel

• Exposure to VMware technologies including ESX, vSphere, NSX, vCenter or vRealize

• Understanding of VMware host hardening and security practices

• Familiarity with Veritas NetBackup configuration

• Experience working within a BAU or operational infrastructure team

• Ability to follow documented processes and procedures in a structured environment
