Key Responsibilities - Senior Mechanical Engineer

+ Lead the mechanical design of ruggedised computing and video tracking systems using SolidWorks 3D CAD

+ Drive thermal management and mechanical packaging strategies for cutting-edge electronic products

+ Collaborate within cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes on time, within budget, and to specification

+ Conduct engineering analysis including thermal, stress, fatigue, and vibration assessments

+ Support testing, verification, and validation of mechanical designs

+ Create detailed engineering documentation including BOMs, reports, and technical data

+ Provide hands-on support to production, testing, and field engineering teams

+ Assist the sales and bids team with design input, estimates, and technical content for proposals

Skills and knowledge required - Senior Mechanical Engineer

+ Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering

+ Proficient with SolidWorks 3D CAD

+ Experienced in designing electronic enclosures and mechanical systems

+ Strong understanding of machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding techniques

+ Proven ability to manage the full design lifecycle

+ Familiar with design for manufacture and ease of assembly
