COTS product which has been customised with bespoke code and database schemas to provide the required functionality. In addition to this, a number of smaller Bespoke and customised applications are provided on the environment. The roles activities include:
- Becoming an SME in the Core Products.
- Developing enhancements to the software applications.
- working with the client to define and implement requirements
- Mentoring and coaching more junior members within the team
- development of automation scripts and process improvements.
- testing of solution changes to maintain quality of the service
- producing documentation as required, including release notes, installation guides
- Carrying out deployment \ outage activities using DevOps principles
