Are you a hands-on Service Engineer with strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills? Do you have experience with medical devices, particularly endoscope washers? We're looking for a reliable and driven engineer to join a market leader in the medical equipment field, delivering expert maintenance, servicing, and repair support across key healthcare sites.
🔧 What You'll Be Doing:
- Carrying out servicing, repair, maintenance, and calibration of medical endoscope reprocessors, endoscope drying units, and storage systems.
- Performing software updates, system adjustments, and modifications.
- Conducting on-site testing, validation, and generating detailed reports.
- Supporting and mentoring new engineers, delivering user training, and providing first-line technical support.
- Managing and owning specific site-based issues, including third-party medical equipment within the portfolio.
Working hours are Mon-Fri, 45hrs a week including travel. Hours worked beyond this are paid at overtime rates.
💡 What You'll Need:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer or as an Engineer in the Armed Forces (Navy, Army, RAF, REME)
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Ideally experience with endoscope reprocessors / endoscope washers, but full training can be provided
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home (Mon-Fri only)
