Data Engineer

Telford / Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite

£460 per day inside ir35

6 month duration

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support data platforms and improve live service monitoring across a complex technical environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide live support across Denodo, Talend, PDI, Git, MySQL and Amazon Redshift.

• Create and consolidate Grafana dashboards into a unified Live Service view, with drill-down functionality.

• Implement monitoring and alerting for legacy services where capabilities are currently lacking.

• Gather requirements from service stakeholders and configure effective alerts.

• Improve service visibility, performance monitoring and operational resilience.

Essential experience:

• Live service support within a data or technical environment.

• Experience with relevant data technologies and monitoring solutions.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate service requirements into practical solutions.

• Active SC Security Clearance.

Grafana dashboard creation, alert configuration and client-side experience would be highly advantageous.
