Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer - London

If you're a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a couple of years' industry experience and you're looking to step into a role where you can genuinely own design work from concept through to production… this is worth a look.

I'm working with a well-established engineering business developing specialist products used across multiple sectors including defence, public safety, transport and manufacturing. They're growing their design team and looking for someone who wants to get properly stuck into real engineering challenges.What you'll be doing:

• Designing and developing new mechanical products using CAD (SolidWorks)
• Improving and refining existing designs
• Getting involved in prototyping, testing, and problem-solving
• Working closely with production, quality, and electrical teams
• Seeing your designs go all the way through the product lifecycle

What they're looking for:

• Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar)
• ~1-3 years' experience in a design role
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks ideal)
• Someone hands-on, proactive, and keen to develop

£37,000 - £40,000 + strong benefits package
