Field Service Engineer - Medical Critical Care Equipment (North West England)

A leading healthcare technology organisation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support and maintain critical care medical equipment, with the opportunity to cross‑train into medical imaging (X‑ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound).

This is a self‑managing, field‑based role offering flexibility, development, and a genuinely employee‑centric culture.

The Role

  • Field service support across the North West

  • Installations

  • Preventive maintenance and compliance checks

  • Technical diagnostics and repairs on critical care equipment

  • Customer support and user training

  • Accurate service documentation

  • Structured cross‑training into medical imaging

Experience We're Looking For

We welcome engineers with any medical engineering experience from:

  • NHS EBME / Clinical Engineering backgrounds

  • Armed Forces medical engineering (MDSS REME Med & Dent Engineers)

  • Engineers from Private healthcare or medical device service providers

Beneficial experience includes but is NOT essential:

  • Anaesthesia or ventilator equipment

Applicants must have:

  • A full UK driving licence

  • Full Right to Work in the UK
