The Company

An international provider and manufacture of industry leading medical radiology equipment is now seeking an experienced sales professional in the midlands to join their sales team as an Account Manager.

The Role

As the Account Manager you will be responsible for the sale of high value, capital equipment such as x-rays, dexa scanners and mammography equipment along with associated devices found in an x-ray room e.g. x-ray retrofits.

You will inherit a number of warm, established accounts to manage and grow, whilst also bringing on new accounts via your new business activity to further expand the business within the midlands territory.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Implement the Company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer's decision-makers at all levels.

  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts.

  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

  • Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports.

  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

  • Coordinate sales and business initiatives and integrate sales processes across the company in the allocated Territory.

What is on offer?;

  • Up to £55,000 salary

  • Un-capped bonus (20% on target)

What experience is required?;

  • Medical capital equipment sales experience into any department(s) (suitable related job titles include Account Manager, Territory Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Executive, Clinical Applications Specialist, Product Manager, Product Specialist, Sales Manager)
  • OR
  • Medical consumables sales experience, but this must be into an imaging or radiography dept.

  • Applicants can be based anywhere in the Midlands.
