Target Rate: £650 a day

IR35 Determination: Inside IR35

Clearance: SC Clearance required

Location: Liverpool 1 / 2 days a week

Duration: 6 Months

Applications Architect: You will join a leading IT consultancy in a team supporting the migration of services from one data centre provider to another. You will work alongside the account CTO, Project Solution Owner, Architects, BAs and SMEs to gain an understanding of the clients' services and solutions with specific responsibility for the migration of data and databases between the two providers. You will define, validate, and provide the solution for the applications in scope of the service migration.

Your skills and experience:

• Knowledge of solutions based on Oracle, Solaris/Linux

• Broad knowledge of infrastructure architecture such as Cloud Provisioning, Servers (Linux and Wintel), backups, storage, networks

• Experience with large critical systems

• Experience of supporting multiple 10g and 11g RAC & Single Instance databases running on Solaris/RedHat; multi-terabyte; OLTP/OLAP setup

• Experience supporting middleware technology such as Oracle Application Server 9iAS, eBusiness Suite (Oracle Applications 11i, using both Forms and Self-Service)
