The Project:

Produce a highly automated financial cloud service based in Microsoft Azure using the principals of "lights-out" operations to provide PAYG, on-demand financial services.

Key Skills:

+ 5 years of experience as an Architect practicing some form of Agile and DevOps.

+ 4 years of hands-on experience with building and scaling Azure infrastructure.

+ 3 years of hands-on experience automating microservice deployments on Kubernetes.

+ 5 years of hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

+ 5 years of hands-on experience managing CI/CD tools such as GitLab or GitHub.

+ 5 years of hands-on experience with distributed source code controls systems such as Git.

Role

Architect with proven experience of designing and developing automation in public cloud using primarily Terraform and other automation tools. Technical Leads must have a strong automation development background with experience of common development tools and automated development delivery pipelines, used in the delivery of containerised services.

Working with the automation development teams, to deploy highly automated infrastructure, platforms, applications and services (REST API and Web Applications) to business users, in a LIGHTS OUT ADMINISTRATION Azure public cloud environment. Including; integrating other SaaS and PaaS subscription services available in the internet, Private cloud hosted application services (hybrid cloud).

Highly Desirable

+ Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Application Insights, Elastic Cloud APM or Prometheus.

+ Experience with log ingestion and data analytics tools such as Azure Log Analytics, ElasticSearch and Logstash.

+ Experience with Azure security and auditing tools such as AAD, Azure Policy, Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center and Azure Defender.

+ Experience supporting, administering or architecting multi-tenant SaaS applications in Azure.

+ You are fluent in at least 1 object-oriented language.
