An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager, reporting directly to the UK Head of Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in shaping bid strategies, crafting content and managing the end to end bid process across a varied client base.

You will assemble and lead a bid team with the relevant service/product/business knowledge required to win and retain work from new and existing clients.

You will be responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition / strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management.

As such, you will be the primary contact point for all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that deliverable are produced in-line with requirements, are to an exceptional standard, and are managed through the relevant gate/quality reviews and client approval process.

This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.

A key part of the role will also include the implementation and improvement of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes, providing guidance to the wider Business as appropriate.

Bid / Project Manager Core skills & Competencies:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex proposals under short timescales and delivering complex and challenging projects; 'lead by example'
