The Role:

+ Crafting and refining the company's business model and value proposition

+ Putting the Sales service offering together

+ Working with UK & European water companies

+ New Sales and Account Management role

The Package:

+ £50,000 to £75,000 per annum

+ Potential for additional 50%-100% of salary as OTE bonus

+ Work from home, autonomous role

+ Some visits to work with team in Southampton required

The Client:

Our client is committed to helping water network operators control pressures and optimise their services including resilience, asset management, leakage and water quality in order to keep their customers supplied. By mapping where the customer's network is most at risk and exposing dynamic pressure variability, they can provide a narrative on network behaviour alongside the implementation of pressure control strategies. They are currently engaging with various UK and European customers and need to strengthen our commercial activity across the globe to take us to the next stage of growth.

They have already designed, made and sold their high-speed, low cost hydraulic pressure monitoring sensors, and your role will be to help develop their business model to show the benefits and wholesale cost efficiencies of their analytics software, platforms and new brand offerings. Using data sensed and edge-analysed from these sensors, they then use sophisticated mathematical, statistical and machine learning algorithms to characterise the network and provide customer insight via their cloud-based platforms. The new platform will also take multiple data sources from customers to provide a more detailed analysis and vendor neutral position.

  • Have 3+ years of relevant SaaS and/or Service sales experience, if you have experience within the water or utility industries this would be great

  • Are looking for that step up in your career, ambitious, moving towards a BDM role

  • Ability to put together complex business models and service offerings

  • Are experienced at successfully negotiating complex sales transactions and are able to proactively develop a business pipeline and drive sales activity

  • Have strong negotiation, organisational, presentation and financial acumen skills

  • Have gained experience selling a solution service

  • Have demonstrable sales experience and are able to provide evidence of success and achievement in their career to date

  • Have outstanding communication skills, both verbally and written

  • Have a confident, enthusiastic and friendly personality, with a forward-thinking and innovative attitude
