You have the opportunity to join a market leading company that manufacturer highly complex products globally to perform calibration of their measuring equipment and related activities.
You will have broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Ideally you will have previously worked within an aerospace/ defence background or a comparable industry. Exposure to precision measuring equipment and gauges would be beneficial.
Role accountabilities - Calibration Inspector
+ Reporting and recalling equipment due for calibration.
+ Calibration of equipment.
+ Resolution of outstanding calibration and failing equipment.
+ Update of relevant process documents including update to calibration register, calibration methods, criteria and frequencies.
+ Where possible, prevent production down time due to calibration.
+ Reporting on department's performance and supporting team to improve this.
+ Dealing with equipment and calibration suppliers.
Technical Skills required - Calibration Inspector
+ Use of a variety of precision inspection tool both digital and analogue scale
+ Strong numeracy and geometry skills
+ Calibration of precision measuring equipment and gauges.
