Target Rate: £250 - £300 a day
IR35 Determination: Inside IR35
Duration: 6 Months initially + extensions
Desktop Engineer: You will join a blue chip consultancy supporting a public sector client. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to incident and problem tickets in ITSM, as well as for monthly patching the end user device within a client estate, as well as quarterly updates to the base build image.
Monitor and respond to Help desk incidents to meet SLA's
Montior and assist with Problem tickets to meet SLA's and ensure a quick resolution of issues
Deploy monthly Microsoft patches to a clients estate following an agreed deployment process
To update a client base image on a quarterly basis to ensure image is never more than 3 months out of date
Ticket and queue management
Experience of working with End user devices to understand the basic principles of PC architecture.
Previous knowledge or use of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 or later
Task Management - Abilitiy to take ownership for and manage DLM incident and problem tickets, ensuring tickets are dealt with in a timely manner to avoid SLA failures.
