The Role:

Working with the DevOps and development teams, to deploy highly automated infrastructure, platforms and applications and services (REST API and Web Applications).

Exciting and challenging role working with latest cloud automation technologies, in highly containerised environments to deliver:

• Strong GitLab administration skills and GitLab CI development knowledge

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Work with development teams providing technical direction for CI/CD pipelines

• Document best practices and strategies regarding CI/CD pipelines

• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

• Familiar with containerisation using Kubernetes, Helm and Argo CD

• Terraform environment and application deployment 3+ years

• Ansible automation and/or intermediate-level Scripting experience (Shell, Bash, Python) 3+ years

• Deploying environments and application Services to public clouds (preferably Azure) 3+ years

• Infrastructure and Services as Code 3+ years

• Configuration management via Terraform, Ansible and other tools 3+ years

• Code and software artefacts demonstrating a strong understanding of; software development life cycle, OWASP security principles, code audit, automated development pipelines 3+ years

• Code and artefact management via Git (Branching, merges and PRs etc) 3+ years

• Design documentation, User guides, and other on-line supporting documentation that enables users to leverage developed solutions.

• Associated automated test code for expected end user scenarios or external interactions that fully exercise the delivered code base.
