A leading Aerospace & Defence organisation require a Facilities Project Manager to control and manage building services contracts and their day to day running. This position will work with in the Facilities department reporting directly to the Facilities Manager.
Responsible for all building contractors delivering reactive and planned activities
Selecting the correct contractors to ensure the UK sites are safe and maintained to time, cost and quality targets.
Responsible for the management of all building service contracts including all day to day activities.
Develop a robust portfolio of approved contractors to ensure production continuity.
Attendance of meetings including QRQC & SHE review meetings to ensure actions are delivered.
Collaborates closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure critical facility availability.
Responsible for 5S standards in the contractor's workshops and stores.
Project Management of all new build constructions and current building refurbishments.
Working with the safety team to ensure all contracted building works are legally compliant and safe.
Experience in the management of Hard and Soft services within an FM environment.
Experience Managing construction projects under CDM regulations.
Experience of a tenure process and contractor selection.
A level of supervisory experience
Proven track record in project management
Exceptional negotiation, persuasion and communication skills.
