FPGA / Hardware Engineer - London - PCB, FPGA, C

An FPGA/Hardware Engineer is required to design custom hardware platforms for a market leader in Mission Critical Computing Solutions.

Role: FPGA / Hardware Engineer

As FPGA / Hardware Engineer you will be responsible for:

Developing Multiscale Dataflow Computing systems and the bespoke OS system of software libraries and on-chip IP such as memory controllers and bus controllers that make Multiscale Dataflow computing a reality.

Experience:

As FPGA / Hardware Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ Experience in digital circuit design, preferably using VHDL for FPGAs

+ Multi-layer PCB design and debug with FPGAs
+ High-speed digital design (eg. QDR/DDR memory interfaces, PCI-Express, 10G Ethernet, Infiniband)
+ Product design and test experience (eg. EMC Compliance)
+ Systems/device driver programming for Linux in C.
+ Knowledge of object-oriented software techniques in Java or C++
