Our client, an innovative Design and Manufacturing business are currently in the market for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

Your Duties - Mechanical Design Engineer

• Designing Electro-Mechanical products
• Produce Designs in 3D CAD using Solidworks
• Testing and providing Analysis on Stress, Fatigue and Vibration
• Create Engineering & Assembly technical documentations
• Develop Engineering reports for NPD's and failures
• Support other teams such as Production, Test, Bids, Sales etc

Key Skills/Experience - Mechanical Design Engineer

• A relevant engineering degree, ideally within Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience from a Highly Regulated Engineering / Manufacturing sector
• Solidworks CAD software experience
• Previous experience designing highly complex mechanisms or structures
• Full experience of the Design lifecycle - Concept to Test / Production
