Network Engineer

Salary: C. £45,000 per annum

Introduction

You have the opportunity to join a market leading company who develop cutting edge digital services and software for a wide range of business sectors. In the Network Enginner role, you will be working on an exciting multi million pound project digitally transforming MOD Defence Business Services.

Experience Required for Network Engineer role

You will be confident in Cisco or equivalent network tools. Ideally you will have previously worked with switches and firewalls within the Defence industry. Riverbed Steelhead WAN Optimiser exposure would be really beneficial for this role to ensure the smooth installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment over multiple Data Centres and account office sites.

Essential skills for Network Engineer role

• Experience working with a complex data centre network environment
• CISCO layer 2/3 switches and firewalls inc Nexus
• McAfee Enterprise Firewalls
• F5 BigIP Load balancers
• Riverbed Steelhead WAN Optimisers
