A global Aerospace and Defence organisation specialising in high performance systems and equipment is looking to recruit a PMO Manager who will play a key role and deliver projects across the business unit.
Key responsibilities of a PMO Manager will include:
+ Implementation of a PMO function in a complex technical organisation including planning of change, communication, update of processes and delivery.
+ The transition of all project and bid activity in Microsoft EPM.
+ Initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling the project's lifecycle to ensure delivery to schedule, performance and cost. This includes creating plans and proposals for new activities
+ Manage project uncertainty through effective planning and risk and opportunity management, establishing appropriate mitigations, contingency and realisation plans.
+ Preparing and publishing project plans and required documentation for bids, tender vets, and other initiated or planned phases within projects
+ Support improvement opportunities within the business including continuous improvement of project management process
Skills and knowledge should include:
+ Experience of management, implementation and direct delivery within a PMO environment.
+ Experience of successfully delivering complex projects using recognised project management methodologies
+ Demonstrated successful management of project finances and project scope
+ A proven track record of successful risk/opportunity management and development of mitigation/realisation plans;
