We provide tools for the engineering of micro- and nano-structures, with customers using our process solutions to research and produce materials and semiconductors vital for everything from medical devices and diagnostics, to electric cars and quantum computers.

Your key objective is to lead the team that resolves day-to-day technology issues which impact on and are identified by, our Operations and Service Teams. You will develop and manage a team of experts; a core part of your role will be developing solid working relationships with other functions in our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the existing Kanban system which allows scheduling and management of all submitted technical issues

  • Using the Kanban (or a modified form of the same), you will agree a prioritisation and delivery schedule with Operations and Service Departments.

  • Create strong relationships between your team and Operations, Service functions.

  • Ensures that the body of technical "know-how" within the working group is shared, and constantly increasing. Educate your team and other functions on key problem-solving methodologies.

  • Organise, resource and develop the team in order to achieve objectives, strategies and long-term plans.

  • Work with other senior managers in our business to identify root cause of repeat issues and aid in the development of business processes which prevent re-occurrence.

  • You will be accountable for effective implementation, and leading continuous improvement within, the health, safety and environment frameworks.

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

  • Obsession with understanding root cause and creating solutions to resolve issues at this level.

  • Experience working for or with our customers to understand their challenges and deliver solutions.

  • Working knowledge of SEMI E10, SPC and other relevant standards and practices.

  • Strong commercial skills

  • A background of using the right sources of data to make the best decisions (Analyse and conceptualize)

  • Strong decision-making and managerial skills

  • Ability to work well and manage with different skill of people

  • Very good cross-functional leadership skills
