Up to £50,000 basic salary (DOE)

A Product Manager is required within a company specialising in high end, state of the art medical diagnostic and laboratory instrumentation devices. Job Information - Product Manager - Molecular

As the Product Manager you will be responsible for products presentations for customer as required,

demonstrations, training, troubleshooting both on-site and remotely as well as support marketing activities.

Travel:

This role will require travel across the UK and overseas. You must be willing and flexible to do so. It is estimated you will be staying away on average 2 nights a month.

The position is office based in Kent, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. The days you are not out visiting customer sites, you will be required to be in the office.

Overview of role:

  • Expand relationships with existing molecular customers in the UK and European territories by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines.

  • Support the Sales Teams in the UK and European territories, attending customer meetings and symposia.

  • Present and train new and existing customers in the designated range of Molecular automation and reagents including new product trials and trouble shooting.

  • Support Senior Product Manager in the marketing activities such as reviewing and exploring current trends in the marketplace, market research and marketing planning

  • Responsible for the Molecular product range as required, representing the company with suppliers and attend associated distributor meetings.

  • Attend exhibitions and meetings representing the company

Experience/skills required:

  • Confident at presenting to large groups

  • Scientific background ideally in Molecular

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to manage multiple tasks at one time

  • Strong communisation both written and verbal
