Our client who specialises in protection solutions for the MOD and Government are currently recruiting for a Production Planning Manager to be responsible for generating and maintaining the planning for the production team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the production work orders are being generated and the production of materials are supplied for the manufacturing department.

Responsibilities - Production Planning Manager- West Sussex

• Understand the production requirements
• Set out a plan to be in line with the project requirements
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure production plan is running smoothly
• Manage the production planners and offer guidance as of when required
• Ensure that there are no material shortages
• Raise Production work order for in house manufacturing and assembly
• Develop methods to include sale and operations forecasting as part of the MPS, utilising SAP as much as possible

Key Skills/Experience - Production Planning Manager - West Sussex

• Manufacturing background ideally with an engineering qualification
• Experience in Low to medium production
• Strong experience in managing stakeholder relationships
• Experience with production support
• Working knowledge of SAP/MRP systems and MS Office tools
• Able to analyse data
• Excellent planner
• Able to gain Security clearance
• Prefer Automotive production experience
